The Blue Force Gear Molded Universal Wire Loop (Molded UWL) is a sling attachment that gives you the versatility of the Universal Wire Loop in a lighter, more cost-effective build. It lets a Vickers sling, or another sling 1.25" wide or narrower, attach to eyelets, slots, rail holes, and other unusual mounting points on a firearm. It fits HK, AK, SIG, SCAR, and other eyelets. The loop is 2.55", measured from the base of the sling loop to the top of the loop.
It uses the same nylon-coated aircraft-grade stainless steel cable as the standard UWL, crimped into a body of nylon 6-6, a military-grade, non-reflective material that Blue Force Gear also uses in the Vickers sling. The ball shank ends crimp to the wire, not the nylon coating. The inside has a push-button socket, so you can use it with any standard push-button sling swivel if you want to. The 1.25" sling loop fits the Vickers Combat Application Slings. Made in the USA, it carries a limited lifetime warranty.
