The Magpul Hunter American Stock is a drop-in upgrade for short-action, right-hand Ruger American rifles. It improves ergonomics, adjustability, and accessory mounting while providing a more consistent bedding surface through a Type III hard-anodized cast aluminum bedding block and high-strength steel recoil lugs. The forend is designed to free-float barrels up to 0.92" in diameter (Medium Palma contour). Length of pull adjusts from 13" to 15" with included 0.50" spacers, and the stock ships with a 0.25" cheek riser installed, with additional risers available separately. Eight M-LOK slots, QD sling cups, and left and right footman's loops support slings and accessories. The Magpul Bolt Action Magazine Well is included for detachable AICS-pattern magazines.
