The Dead Air Xeno Adapter (DA455) is the suppressor-side half of the Xeno mounting system. It threads onto a HUB suppressor and lets you attach any Xeno muzzle device (sold separately). Dead Air designed the system as a lightweight mount with a repeatable return to zero for precision-minded shooters, while still holding up to hard use.
The Xeno parts are short and lock up in a position that keeps the muzzle device from sitting deep in the blast chamber. Dead Air says that helps reduce concentrated erosion on the baffles and suits suppressors with smaller blast chambers. The adapter uses industry-standard 1-3/8-24 (HUB) threads, so it's compatible with Dead Air's Nomad series and many other suppressors. It attaches to the muzzle device with left-hand threads, so the adapter doesn't unthread from your suppressor when you remove the muzzle device, and you can check that the mount is still tight when you install it on your firearm.
The adapter has tooling surfaces, for a 1-1/8" socket and a 1.5" hook spanner, that you can reach even with the suppressor fully installed. That helps if you leave your suppressor on for hundreds or thousands of rounds and need extra torque. It's made from 4140 heat-treated steel with a QPQ black nitride finish, which Dead Air chose for hardness and corrosion resistance. The overall length is 1.241" and it weighs 1.92 oz.
