The Dead Air Xeno HUB Taper Adapter (DA455HT) is the suppressor-side half of the Xeno mounting system, with an upgraded HUB Taper interface. It threads onto a HUB suppressor and lets you attach any Xeno muzzle device, which is sold separately. Dead Air says the HUB Taper interface increases the contact area between the suppressor and the adapter, reducing the chance of loosening during extended use. The shoulder where the adapter meets the suppressor has an angular difference that lets you visually confirm it's been torqued properly.
Like the rest of the Xeno system, it's short, and it lets the muzzle device sit shallow in the blast chamber. Dead Air says that helps reduce concentrated erosion on the baffles and suits suppressors with smaller blast chambers. The adapter uses the industry-standard 1.375-24 (HUB) thread, so it's compatible with many suppressors. Dead Air lists it for all Dead Air HUB and HUB Taper pattern suppressors. It attaches to the muzzle device with left-hand threads, so the adapter doesn't unthread from your suppressor when you remove the muzzle device, and you can check that the mount is still tight when you install it on your firearm.
