The Dead Air Xemax Brake is the big-bore version of Dead Air's Xeno mounting system. It's a single-port muzzle brake built for .33 caliber and .45 caliber rifles, including .338 Lapua Mag, .338-378 Weatherby Mag, 33 XC, 8.6 Blackout, .45-70, and .450 Bushmaster. It can be used on its own, and it's designed to pair with a suppressor fitted with the Xemax Adapter. Dead Air says the single port directs gas outward and upward, reducing felt recoil and cutting down on dust kicked up from the ground.

The design is concentric, with a self-aligning taper for consistent bore alignment and repeatable results. It's made for the Nomax 33 suppressor, and Primal owners can use it by installing the Xemax Adapter. Each brake needs to be timed, and the shims are included. It's 2.06" long, 1.125" in diameter, and has a black nitride finish. It comes in four thread options, so choose the one that matches your barrel. Check the caliber and bore limits of your suppressor before you mount a Xemax adapter or brake.
