The Dead Air Xemax Adapter is the suppressor-side half of the Xemax system, Dead Air's big-bore version of its Xeno mounting technology. It lets Primal owners use Xemax muzzle brakes: install the Xemax Adapter on your suppressor and the Xemax Brake on your rifle. The system is built around a concentric design with a self-aligning taper, for consistent bore alignment and repeatable results.
Xemax is made for big-bore .33 and .45 rifle chamberings, including 33 XC, .338 Lapua Mag, 8.6 Blackout, .45-70, and .450 Bushmaster. Xeno and Xemax parts are not cross-compatible. The Xemax Adapter works only with a Xemax Muzzle Brake, and the brake works only with a Xemax Adapter. It's machined from 4140 heat-treated chromium-molybdenum steel with a black nitride finish.
