The Dead Air Pyro Blast Shield, also called the Pyro Blast Cap (DA432), is an add-on for the Pyro when you don't want the noise and pressure of a brake. The Pyro reduces felt recoil. Installed onto it, the blast shield directs pressure away from you and the shooters next to you and pushes gases downrange, which makes it a good fit for confined spaces like indoor ranges and shoot-houses.
You can also pair it with Dead Air's KeyMo Adapter and a KeyMo Flash Hider or Brake. Adding the blast cap to that setup turns it into a linear compensator and blast diverter. The Pyro Blast Shield isn't compatible with KeyMicro or Xeno muzzle devices, so check what you're running before ordering.
