The Ultradyne Mercury Compensator has been engineered for the .223/5.56 caliber for superior recoil reduction, to reduce muzzle rise and provide a smooth, balanced release of blast energy. The 90 degree side ports vent gases at intervals that spread out the recoil impulse for faster and more accurate follow-up shots. Machined from 416 Stainless Steel and treated with an ultra-rugged salt bath nitride finish. Includes a timing nut for easy installation.

Just right!
One of the best muzzle brakes I've ever tried! Muzzle rise is very minimal and recoil is almost nil. Like most breaks the people shooting next to you are not going to like you very much but .... installation is simple and it comes with all the parts needed.
