The Troy Industries Tritium Rear Folding BattleSight with a round aperture is a rail-mounted folding rear sight for low-light shooting. The tritium glows continuously without batteries or electricity, helping with the poor sight alignment common at twilight. A push of a button folds the sight securely out of the way until you need it again.
It's a rail-mounted alternative to a standard A2 rear sight. It mounts anywhere along all-length rails, and the serrated ramp helps cut glare. A stainless steel cross-locking system holds the sight upright and zeroed under hard use, and a zero-canting attachment system keeps it seated properly. The apertures sit at factory height and are snag-free, and each click adjusts .50 MOA. You can move the sight or remove it without permanently modifying the firearm.
It's machined from hardened aircraft aluminum with stainless steel components, finished in mil-spec hardcoat anodize, sourced and made in the USA, and weighs 0.20 lbs. It's designed for same-plane rail systems only, so it won't work with a railed gas block that sits higher or lower than the receiver, but it does work with Troy's gas block front sights.
