The Troy Enhanced Drop-In Rail is direct replacement for AR-15 Carbine length plastic handguard (heat shields) that use a triangle end plate. Provides the user with four MIL-STD Picatinny rails at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock along with four built-in sockets for Q.D. swivels. The Troy patented clamping design ensures a solid mounting platform and provides a true optical mounting platform that increases the modularity of the weapon. This is a non free float handguard. Installs in minutes with no gunsmithing required. Machined from hardened aircraft aluminum with a Mil-Spec hardcoat anodizing.
