The SureFire Warden is a non-NFA blast regulator for 5.56 mm and 7.62 mm weapons that use a SureFire SOCOM Fast-Attach muzzle device. It is designed to direct muzzle blast and concussion forward instead of venting gas to the sides like a typical muzzle brake. That forward-directed blast can help reduce overpressure felt immediately to the left or right of the shooter and can also help limit dust signature when firing from the prone position.
The Warden mounts and removes quickly using the same SureFire SOCOM Fast-Attach adapter system found on SureFire SOCOM Fast-Attach suppressors. Unlike a sound suppressor, SureFire classifies the Warden as a non-NFA device. It is precision-machined from heat-treated stainless steel and finished in durable Cerakote. Compact at 3.5" long and 7.8 oz, it is intended to have a minimal effect on weapon handling.
