The Radian Weapons Raptor LT Ambidextrous Charging Handle for 5.56 is the newest member of the Raptor family, delivering the same patented ambidextrous functionality in a lighter package. Machined from 7075 aluminum, finished with a MILSPEC Type III hard anodized coating, and over-molded with high-strength fiberglass-reinforced polymer, it offers an outstanding combination of strength, reduced weight, and durability. Large textured latches on both sides enable fast, fluid one-handed operation via palm "blading" or thumb/finger charging from either side. Compatible with AR-15/M16-pattern rifles and available in Black, Flat Dark Earth, and Gray.

Saves a little weight, saves more money
We've used both the original Raptor and the Raptor LT on our guns. Functionally, there isn't a difference; they both run great, and we haven't had any problems with either. The LT version weighs around 0.1oz less, which isn't much, but if you're trying to build a lightweight gun, every tenth of an ounce counts. You'll save even more money with the LT version, as it is over $20 cheaper.
