The Midwest Industries Gen2 Two Piece Free Float Handguard has quad T-marked Picatinny rails for attaching accessories and is notched for a carbine length A2 front sight. Installs on to a normal AR-15 barrel nut (not included) requires the removal of the delta ring. The handguard features four anti-rotation QD sockets for push button swivels. Billet machined from 6061 aluminum and hard coat anodized black. Compatible with most well known piston systems including STAG, CMMG, ADAMS and Smith & Wesson. (Will not work with Osprey Systems.)

1. Wish I would have known it was not a "plug & play" & that I would have to cut off factory items on my M&P-15. 2. Also, wish I would have realized how incredibly HEAVY this thing was once installed. All & all, whereas I love the way it looks, I will see how good it works/feels once it sees some range-time. (Desert Tactical Solutions Response: I spoke with Brian. The delta ring needed to be cut off on his AR. An armorers tool can be used to remove that without needing to cut it off.)
