The Magpul X-22 Backpacker Stock is a drop-in upgrade for Ruger 10/22 Takedown rifles that makes the rifle easier to pack, stow, and get back into action. When taken down, the barrel and attached forend snap securely into the bottom of the stock so the rifle stores as a single compact package that fits in a backpack or vehicle. The rifle can be taken down and stored with optics mounted, then reassembled in seconds. A hinged compartment under the comb holds extra magazines or ammunition, and an O-ring sealed pistol-grip compartment stores batteries or small parts. Interchangeable standard and 0.5" optic-height cheek risers, front and rear QD sling mounts on both sides, and a non-slip rubber butt-pad complete the lightweight, feature-packed design.
