The Magpul MOE SL Hand Guard, Mid-Length is a slim drop-in upgrade for AR-15/M4 firearms with mid-length gas systems. It replaces factory two-piece mid-length plastic handguards and adds M-LOK accessory mounting in a narrower 1.8" profile that is about 1/3 inch slimmer than the original MOE handguard. An ergonomic shape improves handling and control, while reinforced heat-resistant Magpul polymer and an integral riveted aluminum heat shield help protect the support hand from heat during firing. Front lip and side extensions further shield the hand from a hot A2 front sight assembly. Compatible only with firearms that have an A2 front sight assembly, a round front handguard retaining cap, and a rear spring-loaded delta ring. Made in the USA.
