The LWRC Advanced Direct Impingement Bolt Carrier Group was designed to be a drop in replacement to significant improve the reliability and performance over the standard AR-15/M4's Mil-Spec Bolt Carrier Group. The bolt features a redesigned extractor, springs, bolt face, and locking lugs. The Bolt Carrier Group is manufactured using industry-leading machining and a high technology alloy usually used in Formula 1 racing transmission components. During LWRC's testing the Advanced Direct Impingement Bolt Carrier Group fired over 10,000 rounds without a stoppage or failure in a weapon that was neither cleaned nor lubricated during the testing process.
