The Kinetic Development Group MREX MkII Rail for the FN SCAR has M-LOK slots for mounting accessories spanning the entire length of the rail. The traditional picatinny rail at the 12 o'clock position has been replaced with M-Lok slots allowing for more mounting options and a smoother, more ergonomic grip. The MkII will be offered in three different lengths: 6.5, 4.25, and 2.2 inches. These designations signify the length the MREX MkII extends beyond the SCAR receiver. The MREX (Mid-length) has an overall length of 4.25" to accommodate the needs of issued rifle users and some shorter barrel lengths. This length is ideal for use on a SCAR with a 13" barrel and issued FN suppressor.
