The Dead Air Mojave Fixed Barrel Spacer lets you run a Mojave silencer with a booster assembly on a fixed-barrel firearm. On a fixed barrel, a spring-loaded booster can reciprocate and damage the booster assembly. Dead Air says the spacer protects the assembly from that. It mimics the operation of a direct-thread mount and is an easy, inexpensive way to convert the Mojave for pistol-caliber carbines and other fixed-barrel guns.
The spacer installs around a Mojave piston where the booster spring sits inside the Mojave Booster Assembly (PB500). It's machined from 17-4 stainless steel, and it weighs 0.5 oz. Check compatibility before you order. It works only with Dead Air Mojave pistons and the PB500 Booster Assembly that comes with the Mojave silencer. It is not compatible with the P-Series Booster Assembly or P-Series pistons. Dead Air recommends a P-Series fixed mount, KeyMicro, or Xeno mount for pistol-caliber carbines first.
