The Dead Air KeyMo GOV Flash Hider is a flash hider built for duty use, designed around durability, consistency, and alignment. Precision machining is meant to give repeatable suppressor lockup. Dead Air says that when it's used with the KeyMo GOV HUB Adapter, the system adds a mechanical secondary retention feature beyond a typical quick-detach mount. It's still a true quick-detach system, locking in with 1/2 to 2/3 of a rotation.
It's machined from nitride-coated 17-4 stainless steel with a black nitride finish, which Dead Air says helps it resist corrosion, erosion, and wear in adverse conditions.
