The Daniel Defense Rail Interface System (RIS III) upgrades the proven design of the Daniel Defense two-piece RIS II rails by reducing weight while adding versatile M-LOK attachment slots. The RIS III offers the same proven free-float barrel design, durable aircraft-grade aluminum construction, and an uninterrupted top Mil-Spec 1913 rail as the RIS II. The RIS II has M-LOK attachment slots on 7 sides of the handguard, plus integral QD sling swivel attachment points on both sides. This version is designed for uppers with a Front Sight Post.
