The Daniel Defense Offset Flashlight Mount is designed for use with a vertical foregrip on the bottom rail. The mount fits on either side rail for ambidextrous use, so the forward hand on the grip can reach the flashlight's rear button with the thumb. The button access is meant to be quick and natural, but deliberate, to reduce accidental light discharges.
The 2014 update uses the patented Rock and Lock one-piece mounting system for a more robust, streamlined mount and simpler installation on any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail. It is precision CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in Type III hard coat mil-spec anodized black. It accommodates a 1" diameter flashlight body. Product weight is 1.3 oz. Made in the USA.
