The Blue Force Gear Ten-Speed M4 Chest Rig is a low-profile, ultralight chest rig that holds four M4 or AR magazines, or similar-sized items, in elastic front pouches. Blue Force Gear built the pouches with its Ten-Speed high-retention elastic, so they lie flat when empty and still hold polymer or metal mags securely. Because they're elastic, the pouches also take other items of similar size, such as trauma supplies, flash bangs, smoke grenades, GPS units, small radios, or SMG mags.

Each side has a 3 x 3 MOLLE field, so you can add pouches such as a trauma kit pouch, pistol mag pouches, or utility pouches. Four heavy-duty side-release buckles, made of ITW GhillieTEX Low IR hardware, hold the rig on. A strap connects the rear and, according to Blue Force Gear, doubles as an emergency drag handle, and it has a loop field for ID or IFF patches. Behind the front pouches there's a hidden pocket with a hook-and-loop closure for maps or other documents, which measures about 18" x 6".

The rig is built from Ten-Speed military-grade elastic, CORDURA ballistic nylon, and pattern-matched loop fields.

    Lightweight chest rig

Posted by Mike H on Oct 13th 2023

I give this chest rig 4 stars because overall its a good rig, it just tends to bow out toward the top in the middle away from my body and I'm not sure why. It's lightweight which is great and it can hold 4 mags just fine plus has a section behind it to hold small items. The MOLLE on the sides can hold a radio pouch or other equipment if needed.
