Works well with mid length gas system
I used this on a 14.5" with mid length gas system and a 16" with mid length. I saw the biggest improvement on the 16" because it had a normal carbine buffer in it before. The 14.5" had a Spikes T2 buffer in it previously and the recoil difference was not as much. Good product!
