The Magpul ACS-L (Adaptable Carbine Stock - Light) is a streamlined version of the ACS stock. Featuring a center stoage compartment and cheek weld of the ACS but the battery storage tubes have been removed for a slimer, lighter stock. A streamlined anti-snag design shields the release latch to prevent accidental activation. The ACS-L also features a supplemental friction lock system that when engaged minimizes stock movement for enhanced weapon stability.

The ACS-L comes standard with a 0.30" thick rubber butt-pad which provides positive shoulder purchase to prevent slippage even with body armor or modular gear.

Mounts on mil-spec sized carbine receiver extension tube (not included) from manufacturers such as Colt, Armalite, S&W, LMT, and others.
Sloping cheek weld provides a wide contact surface for user comfort

Great stock for a scoped AR

I needed a stock that was adjustable but a bit on the longer side and that had a good cheek weld for a 2x10 scope. I wanted to be able to have the correct eye relief when the stock was collapsed all the way and the scope was on 2x or other lower settings. Other stocks I had were shorter and it wasn't quite right. This stock has a perfect length. It isn't the shortest stock around, nor the lightest but for its length and size its still lightweight. I don't use the storage on it so I won't comment on that.. My only complaint is the QD swivels design was an afterthought by Magpul and it uses a metal cup you screw on. I think they should have put a bit more thought into it and it could have been built in. I'd say this is a 4.7 stars but that isn't an option and 4 is too low so I give it a 5.
