Spike's Tactical 16" 1:7 twist Cold Hammer Forged Barrel with a Mid Length gas system, Optimum barrel profile and chambered for 5.56 NATO. All Spike's Tactical barrels are Individually High Pressure Tested (HPT) and then Individually Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI). This barrel is Cold Hammer Forged to make an extremely durable barrel with a 20,000+ round service life. The barrel is Hard Chrome lined to the M249 SAW Mil-Spec, which is almost twice as thick as the Hard Chrome on a Mil-Spec M4. This results in a rifle that can be run hard day after day!
